Advisor. Our unbiased selection and rigorous standards
ensure high quality, low cost investment options for your plan
participants.
- Contractually accepts the role
of an ERISA 3 (38) investment manager and plan fiduciary.
In doing so, we are able to remove virtually all investment related
plan sponsor's fiduciary responsibilities, including their personal liability and legal exposure.
- Utilizes an 'Open Architecture'
model. This allows us to select a full spectrum of asset
classes and 'Best in Class' mutual fund managers from the entire
investment universe.
- Is a 'Revenue Neutral' provider.
We retain no 12b-1 fees or revenue of any kind from the funds we
recommend. Any revenue received is automatically credited to
your plan assets.
OUR INVESTMENT ADVISORY SERVICES
As a fiduciary to your plan, we are
subject to the guidelines established by ERISA. We ensure these
responsibilities are met and communicated to you in a transparent manner
by emphasizing a regular, thorough, and well documented due diligence
process. This process allows you, as plan sponsor and fiduciary,
to easily fulfill your key fiduciary responsibilities. These include
documenting and monitoring performance of the funds and the fees
charged. We: - Draft and maintain the
Plan's Investment Policy Statement
(IPS). This outlines the investment selection and monitoring process.
We work diligently through constant monitoring to ensure adherence.
- Manage the process for hiring
and monitoring your money managers. This includes the development of investment guidelines, objectives,
minimum performance standards, qualitative analysis, and
implementation of risk management controls.
- Provide suitable
investment options. We have created the Managed Account
Portfolios (MAPs) for investors with varying levels of risk
tolerance and retirement goals.
- Prepare and present regular comprehensive fiduciary investment reviews.
This process measures absolute and relative performance of each money manager,
reports on progress of current investment strategies, and makes
appropriate recommendations for changes to managers or asset class
selection.
